Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1993, the Guarani Jesuit Mission of Santísima Trinidad del Paraná is considered “the largest and best preserved” of the reductions established in the Jesuit Province of Paraguay between the 17th and 18th centuries. It is estimated that this mission founded in 1706 had a population of 4,000 natives and is also notable, in terms of architecture, for the legacy of the religious and architect Juan Bautista Prímoli (1673-1747) of Milanese origin (Milan-Italy).

On the other hand, in addition to contact in the mission area with local communities, during the visit it is possible to discover spaces such as a main church, a native house, the large main square, as well as the orchard, the cemetery and even a bell tower. with the early church. Meanwhile, the cultural tour known as “Lights, Sounds and Images” has also been famous in recent years. Without a doubt, a wonderful occasion to remember the years of exchanges and learning between Guaraníes and Jesuits in the 17th century.
